How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance. This allows time for your personal consultation, wardrobe sourcing and beauty preparation to be thoughtfully planned and tailored to you.
Where does the shoot take place?
Sessions are held in carefully chosen studio spaces or outdoor locations that reflect your style and vision. These are selected in consultation with you to ensure every detail complements the feel of your story.
How long does the shoot last?
There’s no strict time limit — each session flows at a natural pace. We take the time your story deserves, so you’ll never feel rushed.
Will my makeup be done professionally?
Yes. Every session includes a full beauty consultation and professional makeup by Anya Pogodzinska, tailored to enhance your features and reflect your personal style.
Can I bring someone with me?
This time is designed just for you — to help you feel centred, celebrated, and uninterrupted. You're welcome to arrive with a guest, but we encourage you to enjoy the session as a solo experience so you can fully immerse yourself in the process.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Payment plans are available, and I'm happy to arrange this in a way that works for you. Please note that your session must be paid in full prior to the photoshoot. We’ll go over everything during your consultation to make the process seamless and stress-free.
Do I get to choose my images?
Yes. After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery to view and select your favourite images. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional images, wall art or custom prints.
Will artwork be included?
If you choose The Legacy, a beautiful piece of wall art is included with your collection. Additional pieces and bespoke artwork can be purchased separately.
Do you photograph older women?
Absolutely. In fact, many of my clients are women in midlife and beyond who are ready to be seen in a new light. This experience is for every woman — no matter her age, size or stage of life.
What do I wear for my session?
We’ll guide you every step of the way. For our Essence and Evolution sessions, we’ll help you choose outfits that flatter, photograph beautifully and feel like you. You’ll receive a styling guide with tips on what to bring, plus recommendations for rental options if you'd like something extra special. For clients booking The Legacy day, we take wardrobe styling off your hands entirely. We’ll source or create garments just for you. Think vintage finds, designer rentals, or ethically made pieces, all chosen to elevate your story. We call it Sustainable Glamour. And yes — it’s as fabulous as it sounds.
How do I book my portrait experience?
To begin your journey, simply get in touch via the contact form on this website. We’ll arrange a discovery call to discuss your vision, answer any questions and guide you through the next steps. Once you’ve selected your collection, a deposit will secure your date and planning will begin. It’s all designed to feel effortless and exciting from the very first conversation.
Will I need to sign a contract?
Yes. Once you're ready to book, you'll receive a simple contract outlining the details of your chosen collection, what's included and key terms. It's there to protect both of us and ensure everything runs smoothly. Nothing stuffy — just clarity, trust, and mutual respect.
What if I don’t like being photographed?
You’re not alone — many of our clients begin the day feeling unsure or nervous. But this experience is designed to ease you into comfort, confidence, and self-expression. Most leave saying they actually enjoyed it — and wish they’d done it sooner.
What if the weather is bad (for location shoots)?
We always have a beautiful Plan B in place. If your shoot includes an outdoor location and the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll either move to a studio setting or reschedule, depending on your preference and availability.
Do you retouch the images?
Yes — gently and artistically. Every image is professionally edited to enhance your natural beauty while preserving your authenticity. My goal is for you to look like you, on your absolute best day.
Can I use the images for my business or personal branding?
Of course. Just let us know your intended use during your consultation, and we’ll make sure the styling and image licensing suit your needs.
What age is this experience for?
There’s no age limit on being seen, celebrated, and photographed beautifully. Whether you’re in your 30s, 60s, or 80s, this is your moment — and it’s never too early or too late to honour who you are.
