Still Waiting For You

Some stories arrive fully formed, refusing to be ignored until they're brought to life. This was one of them. Created in 2018 to mark one hundred years since the end of the First World War, Still Waiting for You tells the imagined story of two Edwardian sisters whose husbands left for war and never returned. As the months turned into years, hope slowly gave way to grief. The home they had once filled with love fell silent, then into ruin, becoming a place haunted by memories as much as by absence. Even after death, the sisters never truly left, forever searching the rooms they had once shared with the men they loved. Every image in this gallery was created to tell that story of love, loss and longing. Or perhaps . . . it tells another story entirely. Is The Keys We Carried connected to this tale? I'll leave you to decide.
