Above The Shop.
It can feel vulnerable to be photographed at any age, but especially as we get older. There’s often a difference between how we feel and perceive ourselves and what we fear a photograph might reveal. Taking someone’s photograph is a collaboration — an honest conversation between two people. What matters to me is creating images that feel true, warm and recognisable to the people who love them. When someone says, "You captured me perfectly", that means far more to me than creating a flawless portrait ever could. I feel genuinely honoured when people trust me enough to let me photograph them in this way.
Living above a vintage clothing shop, this is a space shaped by creativity, collected objects and the quiet rhythms of everyday life. An artist and collector, she moves between paintings, fabrics, sketchbooks and the familiar atmosphere of the rooms she inhabits. These photographs observe moments within that space — the soft light, small gestures and feeling of a life built around creativity, memory and home.
